GVS Opens New Manufacturing Plant in China: A New Chapter in a 15-Year Journey

GVS is proud to announce the inauguration of its new manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China, marking a major milestone in the Group’s global expansion strategy.

A Legacy of Growth and Innovation in China

GVS’s journey in China began in 2010 with the establishment of GVS Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in the Suzhou High-tech Zone. Over the past 15 years, GVS has steadily expanded its footprint through strategic investments, acquisitions, and the development of local partnerships. Today, GVS Suzhou serves as the management headquarters for the Group in China, overseeing R&D, production, and the management of several subsidiaries across the country and over 700 people.

The New Plant: Scale, Technology, and Vision

In 2021, GVS Suzhou acquired 20,000 square meters of land in the Suzhou High-tech Zone to build a new factory and auxiliary buildings. The project, with a total investment of approx. € 25 million, has resulted in a state-of-the-art facility with a construction area of 30,000 square meters. The main construction was completed by the end of 2023, and all interior and exterior decoration finished in May 2025. The plant is now officially operational, serving as both the office and production centre for the China region headquarters. This new base is expected to deliver an annual output value of approx. € 50 million, further strengthening GVS’s role as a key player in the Chinese and international filtration markets.

            Strategic Functions and Regional Leadership

As the regional headquarters, GVS Suzhou undertakes strategic planning, human resources management, financial oversight, production operations, and integrated information systems for its subsidiaries, including Shanghai Transfusion Technology (“STT”) acquired in 2022. The company’s differentiated management approach ensures tailored support for each subsidiary, fostering innovation and operational excellence across the Group.

            Looking Ahead

The inauguration of the new Suzhou plant is a testament to GVS’s vision for sustainable growth, technological leadership and customer-centricity in China and beyond. The new facility will also play the role of regional production and technological hub, supporting GVS expansion strategy in the attractive Asia-Pacific market.

Massimo Scagliarini, GVS Group CEO, commented as follow:

“The inauguration of our new plant in Suzhou marks a pivotal moment in GVS’s journey of innovation and global expansion. This state-of-the-art facility not only strengthens our presence in China but also reinforces our commitment to delivering advanced filtration solutions worldwide. We are proud to invest in the future of our people, our technology, and our partnerships in this dynamic region.”
