Quartz Micro Fiber Extraction Thimbles
GVS Quartz Micro Fiber Extraction Thimbles are used for reliable and fast analysis in pharmaceutical formulations, food controls and environmental monitoring.
The extraction thimbles are suitable for Soxhlet-type, Tecator type or similar devices.
They are located in the extractor body, used to accommodate a sample of solid material to extract certain components out, with the addition of an appropriate solvent.
Properties
GVS Thimbles are made by high purity quartz microfiber and are able to withstand high temperatures (up to 900°C), meeting the highest requirements for purity, especially because of their low heavy metal content.
Suitable for both solvent extraction and air sampling applications.
High loading capacity and high retention of very small particles.
High air permeability and good stability in high temperatures.
Maximum working temperature 900ºC.
